About Us
Del Amigo High School is the SRVUSD continuation education option, which is located with Venture Independent Study at 10540 Albion Road in San Ramon. Del Amigo High is designed for students who are at least 16 years old and are in need of credit recovery. Students and families interested in Del Amigo submit a voluntary transfer request through SRVUSD Student Services.
As an alternative education model, students attend school in-person every day on a flexible schedule (9:00 am- 1:23 pm) to allow additional time for work or other responsibilities.
Del Amigo students are required to earn 190 credits in specific courses that will result in earning a high school diploma. Our school design includes eight grading periods per year where students can earn 2.5 credits per class each grading period. These credits are then copied to the transcript for more frequent feedback of progress. Our program includes guidance and career counseling, graduation planning, social emotional support and a smaller school environment.
Del Amigo High’s enrollment is currently limited to 30 students. Every grading period we review the transfer requests and welcome new cohorts of students as able.
